Biking the Bend Parks Bond

The Bend Parks Bond, Measure 9-86, will make the Deschutes River Trail a world class walking and biking trail connecting parks from the center of town north to Tumalo and south to Sunriver.  It will protect water quality in the river, and improve recreation and transportation connections north to south. Voters in the Bend Parks and Recreation District have an unique opportunity to make this vision a reality.

Join us for a free, engaging, and easy 10-mile bike ride connecting and learning about several of the Bend-area Parks that will be created or improved through Measure 9-86. We'll stop at the ice rink site, Colorado Street Dam, Newport bridge undercrossing, 1st Street rapids and bridge, and Gopher Gulch. Then back to Good Life Brewing for a free beer, appetizers, and information on all the sites that we didn't get to visit.

When: Sunday, October 7

Finish: 4pm at Good Life Brewing, 70 SW Century Drive. Free beer & appetizers for everyone on the ride!
