Inspiration and Innovation: August Oregon Stories Celebrates Emerging Land Use Leaders

Without a doubt, Oregon raises and attracts some pretty inspiring people. At 1000 Friends, we celebrate these people every day: people who care about their communities and work to ensure that they are livable, economically vibrant, and environmentally aware. Sometimes, though, we like to take an extra moment to recognize their achievements and consider what we can learn from their example.

This month's Oregon Stories is dedicated to that effort. We wrap up our 35 Innovators Under 35 campaign, celebrate 26 years of the Paul Gerhardt internship, and discuss how 1000 Friends is training new advocates in Central Oregon to speak up for sustainable economic development. Finally, we announce an exciting new initiative.
