Last month, Oregonians in Action proposed a language change for statewide documents. The opponent to Oregon's statewide Urban Growth Boundary rules has proposed that whenever Urban Growth Boundaries (UGBs) are mentioned in state statues and official documents, the term be changed to "The Notorious UGB."

So far, there has been no comment from legislators as to whom will take up this mantle. Oregonians in Action promises that they will continue to pursue this language change as an important distinction for public understanding.
