Envision the Rogue Valley 2012 Open Houses

With the population of Jackson County projected to double in the coming decades, local 1000 Friends affiliate Rogue Advocates is beginning a project called Envision the Rogue Valley. The project, supported by a grant from the Meyer Memorial Trust, builds on the Envision Oregon project undertaken by 1000 Friends of Oregon several years ago.

The second of these open houses will focus on Envisioning the Rural Rogue Valley. Join Rogue Advocates and 1000 Friends Southern Oregon Advocate Greg Holmes for a community-based discussion of options for enhancing the viability of local farmers and forest business owners--keeping that part of the region's economy vital into the future.

5:30-8:00pm, Thursday, February 23rd

Southern Oregon Research & Extension Center, 569 Hanley Rd., Central Point
