Metro Urban Growth Boundary Expansion: Forum/Open House

Metro Urban Growth Boundary Expansion: Forum/Open House

On July 28, Metro will host an open house and information forum on the proposed expansion of the regional urban growth boundary, which was submitted to Metro Council by acting COO Daniel Cooper on July 5. The proposal would add new lands for industrial and residential development in various parts of the Metro region, helping to guide growth over the next 20 years. Metro Council must decide whether to expand the urban growth boundary, and if so, where to do so.
